About FMH
Introduction
In addition to the required courses in English, History, Math, Science and Bible, many electives are available.
A full range of Music classes include Music Theory and Rudiments, Sight Singing, Class Voice and Music Appreciation are offered in addition to the all-school chorus and Faith Chorale.
Business courses include Computer Programming, two years of Accounting, Computer Applications, and Office Skills classes.
Welding, Basic Electricity, Small Engine Repair and Wood Shop are offered in Industrial Arts.
The Physical Education, Home Economics and Visual Arts departments all offer a variety of classes.
Location
The ten acres campus is located in beautiful rural setting, about two miles west of Gap Pennsylvania.
A large athletic field and gymnasium provide students with opportunities for intramural and interscholastic athletic competition.
Facilities include eight spacious classrooms, a large study hall/library combination, a computer lab networked to other computers in the building, a wood-shop/metal-shop building and administrative offices.
Integration
Students are taught spiritual principles in daily chapel services, Bible classes and in all academic subjects. A senior class mission trip, Christmas caroling in Baltimore or NYC, Evangelism Team and Faith Chorale provide opportunities for students to share their faith with others.
Student Oppurtunites
Extra-curricular activities include yearbook, the school newspaper, student council, class socials, quiz team and participation in the MACSA Senior High Fine Arts Festival.
