Board

Willie Stoltzfus

  • Role on board: Board Chairman
  • Term started: July 2023
  • Church Involvement: Member at Pequea Beachy Amish Church
  • Family: I’ve been married to Myma for 24 years. We have 6 children ages 12-22.
  • Reason for serving on the board: Education of the next generation is important beyond measure. Many Christians who advanced God’s Kingdom did so on the basis of what they had learned, and how they articulated Biblical truths. Also, to quote G. K. Chesterton “Without education, we are in a horrible and deadly danger of taking educated people seriously.”

Jonathan Zook

  • Role on board: Vice Chairman; Head of the Advancement Committee
  • Term started: July 2023
  • Church Involvement: Member at Bethel Christian Fellowship. I currently serve on the leadership team as an elder
  • Family: I have been married to my wife Marilyn for 23 years, and we have 4 daughters and 1 son.
  • Reason for serving on the board: I am excited about the opportunity to serve at a board level and have the chance to impact FMH in a positive way. I strongly agree with the statement: Be the change that you want to see in others. Therefore, when asked to serve, I believe we should give it our all.

Glenn Miller

  • Role on board: Pastoral Representative; Head of the PTF Committee
  • Term started: July 2023
  • Church Involvement: Pastor at Weavertown Church
  • Family: Ruth and I have been married for 24 years, and we have 5 children.
  • Reason for serving on the board: Ruth and I are both graduates of FMH. FMH played a key role in our academic and spiritual formation as teenagers, and it continues to be a blessing to our children. My goal is for FMH to continue to be a place where our young people are challenged to excel academically, vocationally, relationally, and spiritually.

Elvin Stoltzfus

  • Reason for serving on the board: I was asked to serve on the board and have gotten to enjoy the responsibility and interaction on the board.

Clayton Stoltzfus

  • Role on board: Treasurer; Head of the Finance Committee
  • Term started: July 2024
  • Church Involvement: I am a member at Oasis Mennonite Fellowship in New Holland, PA.
  • Family: I have been married to Naomi for almost 25 years. We have three sons. Our oldest was a senior at FMH in 2025.
  • Reason for serving on the board: We continue to face pressure to adopt worldviews and values that do not conform to the teachings and example of Christ. These pressures come from both the world and many churches of our day. It is my passion to see our children given a strong foundation by providing them with a Christ-centered education that equips them to have a positive impact on their communities and churches. It is my desire to do what I can help Faith Mennonite High School continue to provide that foundation for the children in our community.

Tony Kauffman

  • Reason for serving on the board: To me, education is vital in shaping the lives of our young people, and I am especially grateful for a government that allows private Christian schools.  I count it a privilege to be involved in a small way in helping shape our young people’s lives.

Nolan Martin
