Tuition Policy

  1. Tuition for Faith Mennonite High School will be set based on the three-year rolling average of the actual operating expenses per student. The previous two years’ average cost of education (COE) was $6,800 per student.
  2. FMH will bill parents $6,800 per student for the 2024-2025 school term.
    1. Tuition Scholarships are available and may be requested.
    2. See below for Tuition Scholarships available for the first, second, and third child.
  3. Additional fees may be required through the year for field trips, clubs, and some elective classes.
  4. Tuition is billed monthly and shall be paid by the 15th of each month beginning in August and ending in May.
  5. Patrons can set up 10 automatic recurring credit cards charges for tuition payments.
  6. Patrons paying tuition in full by check or cash before September 1st will receive a 2% discount.
  7. Patrons are expected to stay current with tuition payments. If tuition becomes delinquent, FMH reserves the right to:
    1. withhold diplomas until tuition is paid in full.
    2. refuse readmission to any student.
  8. At FMH we are committed to ending each fiscal year with a balanced budget. Part of the projected budget may be based on donations which we cannot control. If a deficit occurs at the end of the school year, there may be an additional assessment in June.
  9. To assist families with school costs, tuition assistance is made available to families demonstrating financial need.
    1. FMH participates in Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) via Faith Builders Scholarship Services. This program allows certain businesses to channel their tax money to participating organizations of their choice. Patrons living in low-achieving school districts may qualify for additional (OSTC) funds.
      • In the 23-24 school year, 43 of 72 patron families applied and received an average of $5,783. These families received FB-EITC scholarships that discounted 20%-80% of their tuition costs, and some families paid less than $2,000 per child in tuition.
      • For more information, please visit the Faith Builders website or contact the school office. Interested patrons need to apply before November 1st of each year.

Families who demonstrate financial need beyond their awarded EITC funds and Tuition Scholarships may qualify for Student Aid assistance. Patrons interested in a Student Aid application or additional information may contact the school office.

  • Individuals, as well as businesses, can use the “New Contribution Online Application button below to start a contribution agreement with Faith Builders Scholarship Services.
  • Anyone interested in contributing between $500-$3,000 of their PA income tax can contact the office for options with another Scholarship service in the EITC program.
